Summary:
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce – he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret...even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, FALLEN is a page-turning thriller and the ultimate love story.
I really enjoyed this one! I think the only disappointing thing about the book is that you really don't find out what exactly is going on until you are 75% of the way through and by then I was beginning to wonder if the book was ever going to give that information or continue to be vague. What can I say....I'm a sucker for romance stories involving vampires, werewolves, angels, etc... I'm also a sucker for a story line of good vs evil. Good read indeed! Daniel Grigori is now added to my ever growing list of favorite males in a book. I give this book a solid 4.3 stars! (Originally added on Goodreads June 2012)
I read this! Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the book as much as you did, it was much too dreary for me and Luce wasn't as strong a heroine as I would have liked, but your review is good :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked this book. I didn't really like it that much.

I really liked this book
ReplyDeleteI have read this one and although I haven't reviewed it yet, I would give it almost the same description you have. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a sucker for romances involving vampires, etc. I've seen this book on the racks many times. I should probably go pick up a copy, eh?
