Top 10 - Fictional Crushes

Top Ten Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and The Bookish
This week's topic is Top Ten Tuesday Rewind. "October 9:  Top Ten Tuesday REWIND (pick a past topic that we've done that you missed or just want round 2 of!)"

Since my blog is fairly new I decided to go with my Top Ten Fictional Crushes that spans both YA and Adult fiction.  I have an attraction towards the dark headed hotties....but there are a few blondes that made the list too.

Listed in no particular order of favoritism:

1. Edward Cullen from the Twilight Saga- I mean come on, I have to include Mr. Shiny Vampire in this list, and list him first because after all he was my first fictional book crush to reignite my love of books.

2. Any of the Black Dagger Brotherhood guys.  They are all major hotties and seriously crush worthy.  But a few of my favorites are: Zsadist, Rhage, Rehvenge, and Vishous.

3. Daemon Black from the Lux series....sigh.....yes, he is my current fictional crush.

4. Patch from the Hush, Hush series - hot fallen angel...yes please!

5.  Christian Grey from Fifty Shades series....enough said.

6. Jace from The Mortal Instruments series - "looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk" (but what's beneath the exterior after peeling away the layers is worth adding him to my list)

7. Dimitri Belakov from the Vampire Academy series- hot Russian warrior coming right up!

8. Jon Snow from A Song of Ice and Fire series - I have a soft spot for his lot in life...not being a full blooded Stark and all but yet still fiercely loyal to his family.

9. Four from the Divergent series - valiant, strong, loyal - yes all the characteristics one guy should have.

10. Adrian Ivashkov from the Vampire Academy series and the Bloodlines series - oh how I love Adrian!  A list would not be complete without him.  He's one of those characters that takes center stage even when a book isn't primarily focused on him.

I'm sure there are some great runner-ups that are not coming to mind right now.  After all, I read a lot of books that have crush worthy guys in them.  What Fictional Crushes make your Top Ten list?

  1. I'm glad someone else did choose this topic :) I considered it, but I would pick Jamie from Diana Gabaldon's Outlander & Jacob from Sara Gruen's Water for Elephants, and that's about it. I tend to love the leading man in a book while I'm reading it, but they don't often make a lasting impression. These two definitely did though so they make the fictional crush list for sure :)

  2. I still love Edward Cullen even though people sometimes tease me. My biggest pick would be Rhett Butler from Gone with the Wind or Ralph from The Thornbirds. :)

  3. Great list! I'm also into the dark dudes ^^ Though Edward wouldn't make hte list anymore, I definitely had a crush on him back when. And I loved Zsadist and Vishous's stories! Obsidian is on my shelf and all the Daemon love makes me really really want to pick it up! Patch and Jace are yum, though I'd pick Will from The Infernal Devices over either of them ;) Dimitri and Adrian *sigh* Can't wait for the last Bloodlines book! And though I've only seen the series, Jon Snow is one of my favorite Game of Thrones characters.
Have you read Rachel Vincent's Soul Screamers series? Because I'd totally add Tod to the list, even though he's blonde ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I followed you back :)

  5. I haven't done this topic, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. Great list. I LOVE Dimitri, but I'd have to with Will over Jace.

  6. Jace would definitely be up there for me. What do you think of his character casting for the upcoming movie?

And Jon Snow! What an excellent choice! Such an awesome series.

    1. After having seen Jamie Campbell Bower in Merlin, I was okay with him being cast as Jace. Honestly no one can really live up to what we all depict in our minds, but I don't think fans of the series will be disappointed.

  7. Fictional crushes are so much fun. I love me some Daemon Black. Yessiree I do. And there is definitely something attractive about Edward Cullen. I mean, he loved Bella so much, and that complete devotion is attractive.

    Fun list!

  9. Oh my gosh, I could take this list and change the title to characters I liked the least in books, lol. Oh well, to each their own fictional characters haha. BUT PATCH. Somebody fill me in. That boy was a creepy, annoying stalker.

    1. LOL, I appreciate your honesty. Definitely each person has different reasons for choosing their crushes. If we were all the same life would be really boring.
