Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly post hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along. Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) teaser sentences from somewhere on that page
- Be careful not to include spoilers! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away. You don't want to ruin the book for others.)
- Share the title and author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.
Taken from Spark (Sky Chasers #2) by Amy Kathleen Ryan
Spoken between Kieran and Waverly:
Teaser #1 - If you ever loved me you should believe me without question." "That's not who I am. I'll never be that kind of woman." - 7%, LOC 357 or 4844
Teaser #2 - "'Put yourself in my shoes. My fiancee, or ex-fiancee" - he stumbled here but regained his composure - "goes to visit my worst enemy. How would you feel?" - 7%, LOC 357 or 4844
Have you read the Sky Chasers series yet?
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of these teasers.
I did read the first book in this series but was put off by the religious tone. I started Spark but gave up on it both because of the religious tone and the characters I found unlikable. I got to about 10% before I gave it up. My teaser this week is from Othermoon by Nina Berry. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read these books, but your teasers are interesting.

Great choices in teasers. I loved this book and series in general. You chose very intriguing teasers and I can't wait for book 3 to come out, it's a bummer I have to wait another 12 months. Happy reading.
