Teaser Tuesday #3

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly post hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along.  Just do the following:

- Grab your current read

- Open to a random page

- Share two (2) teaser sentences from somewhere on that page

- Be careful not to include spoilers! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away. You don't want to ruin the book for others.)

- Share the title and author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.

Alright so I cheat a little and sometimes pick teasers from two spots...as I did this week, and I cheat a little sometimes by adding more than one sentence to a teaser.  But hey, it's my blog and I reserve the right to cheat when it feels necessary.  

Today's teasers are taken from Predestined (Existence Trilogy #3) by Abbi Glines:

Teaser #1: "What Death protects can't be harmed and baby," the pad of his thumb caressed my cheek, "you're the only thing I protect." (Loc 182 of 4572)

Teaser #2: "...please tell me you aren't trying to be subtle with your lustful looks because you have failed.  That boy knows you want his body." (Loc 269 or 4572)
