Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly post hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading
Anyone can play along. Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Share two (2) random teaser sentences
- Be careful not to include spoilers. (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away. You don't want to ruin the book for others).
- Share the title and author too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.
- Leave a comment on the hosts blog post so that others can come visit you and you can visit others.
I'm excited to share my teasers this week because they come from a book that I'm participating in the blog tour on February 18th (be sure to come back for my stop on the blog tour as it'll include a giveaway too!)
Today's teasers are taken from Persistence of Vision by Liesel Hill.
TEASER #1: "He winced, shutting his eyes, and the act of reopening them released a single tear down his cheek." Loc 37 of 5343
TEASER #2: "That was the most frustrating part: to feel she'd lost something she yearned to have back so much that it hurt and not be able to define it. Whatever happened in Vegas, it was more than just passing out from some tourist trap." Loc 178 of 5343
There are so many others I want to share but I've already technically cheated by using three sentences. You'll just have to come back on the 18th to read my review and see some of my favorite quotes.
What book did your teasers come from this week?
Leave me a comment so I can repay the visit!
Ooh wow, awesome teasers! I love the second one, it's amazing. Thanks for sharing. ^.^
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading! :D
