In My Mailbox 26 & Sunday Post 25

In My Mailbox is a weekly post hosted by The Story Siren.
Each week bloggers participate to share what books they received.

I haven't purchased any books for 15 days now.  Honestly even if I wanted to purchase them I have had zero time to read anyway.  I did however get approved for one from Netgalley.

Dare You To (Pushing the Limits #2) by Katie McGarry
Expected Publication Date: June 7, 2013 by Harlequin Teen
Ryan lowers his lips to my ear. "Dance with me, Beth."

"No." I whisper the reply. I hate him and I hate myself for wanting him to touch me again....

"I dare you..."

If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk's home life, they'd send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom's freedom and her own happiness. That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does....

Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him.

But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams-and his life-for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all....
Sunday Post is a weekly post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Each week bloggers participate to share book news from their week and what's to come in the week ahead.

Unfortunately I have had very little time to read and this will be a pattern until the summer when I can lay by the pool while the kids swim and just read. As much as I love reading I love LIVING more!  So even though life is busy with tons of activities, I experience more and gain more benefits from staying so busy.
The most exciting thing I experienced this week was participating in an event called Tough Mudder in Georgia yesterday.  Check out these pictures for a taste of what it is:

Nearly 12 miles of mud, freezing water, crazy obstacles and more mud!  It was intense and exhilarating, so much so that I cried at the finish line!  Today my body is beat up, bruised, cut and sore beyond words but my spirit is soaring with accomplishment!
