Summary:

My Review:
I decided to read the Sea Breeze books back to back and have their reviews come out a week apart.  Even though these books each focus on a different Sea Breeze guy, their stories are still connected through friendships and relationships.  This is book 4 in the series, and focuses on Preston, another Sea Breeze bad boy hottie, and Amanda who is (along with the some of the other leading females in the stories) innocent, sweet and sometimes naive.

Preston has had a rough life, growing up without a father and a drug addict of a mother.  Now his 3 younger siblings are being raised the same way and he takes it upon himself to take care of them, making sure they have food, a place to live, basically he pays for everything they need.  In order to do this he has to make himself hard to any emotions in relationships.  Amanda is the one person he can't seem to stay away from...and it doesn't help that she continues to heavily pursue him even though he knows he's no good for her.

This story had me tearing up due to the sad situation Preston's siblings were involved in, for which I have a soft spot on my heart for kids in situations like this.  The thought "don't judge someone's situation until you've walked in their shoes" kept coming back to me.
