From Book to Movies, Take 1

I do believe I'm more excited this year about so many well loved books being made into film than I have been about any year prior to this. Of course some of my favorite book-to-movie adaptations include Harry Potter (the whole series), the Hunger Games, which continue to be exceptionally made movies, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and yes, even Twilight as cheesey as some of the movies turned out.

Here are a few Books-to-Movies I'm most looking forward to in 2014.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

Divergent by Veronica Roth

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Book Description: Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel's other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.

The Maze Runner by James Dashner
