Summary:
Six years ago, Dewayne Falco's life changed. He lost someone he never expected to lose. Resigned to punish himself for something he felt he could have prevented, he goes through life without getting too close to anyone.

What he didn't expect was for the girl across the street to move back home and remind him of what they both lost: Dewayne's younger brother Dustin. However, when a miniature version of Dustin opens the door to greet him, Dewayne realizes he might not have lost everything after all.

Sienna Roy loved Dustin Falco most of her life. He was the boy next door, the high school basketball star and her best friend. But when his life was cut short, she realized he left a part of himself behind.

Now, she's back in Sea Breeze, thankful to have a home for her and Dustin's son, but not sure if she can ever forgive the people across the street who abandoned her when she needed them the most — The Falcos.

Betrayal, lies, and forbidden attraction might end Dewayne and Sienna's story before it's even begun.
MY REVIEW:
I really enjoy this series! I've read books 1-4, but don't yet have books 5-7. I'm not one for reading a series out of order, but Abbi Glines had mentioned this could be read as a stand alone and so when it went on sale for $1.99 I snatched it up and read it immediately. You'll breeze (pun intended) through these!

Sea Breeze is a series that follows the guys of Sea Breeze who've been friends since school. Now they are all in their mid to late 20's and all have a story and a past which leads them to find the one woman that could finally tame their wild ways. All of the guys are extremely hot (what fictional series wouldn't have hot men?!?)

In Hold on Tight the story is told from the POV's of Dewayne Falco and Sienna Roy. As a young girl and a teen Sienna Roy loved her best friend Dustin Falco, the younger brother of Dewayne, and in high school they became serious. But it was Dewayne who watched out for her and protected her - both from all the guys at Sea Breeze high who would rush to take advantage of her and also from the stupid decisions his younger brother made. When Dustin was suddenly killed in a car crash things rapidly change and Sienna was left pregnant. Due to her parents strict beliefs they shipped her off to live with her aunt 8 hours away wanting nothing to do with her or her child.

Six years later she returns to Sea Breeze with her son to live in the home she grew up in and raise her son. The only problem is how do you live in a small town, across from the home where your son's father lived and not run into his family? After all, she reached out to the Falco's for 2 years and never heard anything from them. Then Dewayne shows up to meet the new neighbors and he is forced to think about the brother he lost. The brother he blames himself for losing. Sienna is forced to face the fact that she can't hide her son's strong resemblance to Dustin. But how can she get over a family not wanting to be a part of Dustin's child's life?

Favorite Quotes:
I was in love with Dustin Falco, but I was in complete idol worship over his older brother, a fact I could only admit to myself. He was the kind of beautiful that a girl couldn't ignore.

I needed to seek mental help. Violence was not sexy. Even if Dewayne's muscles flexed when he was just talking about a fight.

"Because you're lovable and kind. Because you make everyone around you smile. Because you have a really big heart. I remember you taking the time to make a scared little fourteen-year-old girl feel safe in high school.

"She's your one. The one who reaches you. The one who makes you different."

The journey may not be easy, but when you find the one to take it with, then you can do anything.

Final Rating - 4 stars
