Summary:
These Royals will ruin you…

From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

She might be right.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.
MY REVIEW:
Although not as yummy as book one, it was still a delicious story.

Where book one was solely told from the POV of Ella, book two alternates between Ella and Reed's POV. I got a little irritated with Ella's "leave me alone" attitude towards Reed without really hearing him out for what she thinks she saw going on at the end of the last book...and that lasted for over half of the book.

One thing is for sure, these Royal men have a hard time not keeping secrets and being 100% up front and honest with each other, especially the family that are so loyal to. Messed up...each Royal man has some serious emotional issues ever since their mother committed suicide. There's more turns and surprises and cliff hangers, so book 3 is sure to be another joyride. I just hope the heat factor doesn't go down.

At only 350 pages, I find myself feeling a bit of sadness at the end because I just want to keep reading. The Royal brothers are just that entertaining! As twisted a life as they lead, with all the blackmailing, the vices, the unhealthy coping, the women, the money, they will pull you in like no one's business. And it does not help that they are all extremely gorgeous men. In this part of the story they become very protective of Ella and she begins to see them as family.

Fans of NA contemporary romance this series is a MUST read!

Top Favorite Quotes:
Is there a real life block button? Because I need that in my life."

Those boys wear T-shirts and shredded jeans. When I first saw them, I labeled them thugs. They don't look like prep-school kids. They look like dock workers with their heavy muscles, broad shoulders, and messy hair.

"I see you. I see your hurt and your loneliness. I see your pride, and the way it stops you from leaning on anyone. I see your big heart, and how you want to save the world..."

His words, gah, his words are like sunshine baking sweetness into every pore of my body.
