Series Enders Reading Challenge: Saying Goodbye

Sandy and I started the Series Enders Reading Challenge in 2014. After 11 years of hosting this challenge, we agreed it was the right time to let it go. As hard as it can be to let go of seasons we've enjoyed, we can't hold on longer than we should. I haven't been actively reading at the same level as I once did when we first set out to host this challenge. However, I am happy to report that I AM reading again, just not in a large capacity, and blogging book reviews have taken a major backseat. 

Even though Sandy would be okay with independently managing the challenge, we've had minimal participation for the last several years. We appreciate those participants who have supported our blogs through the years. We want to give a shoutout to Jessica @ a GREAT read who faithfully knocked out her series enders faster than Sandy or I did. Hardly a month would pass since the challenge inception when Jessica didn't link up to one or more reviews for series enders.

Since starting the Series Enders Reading Challenge in 2014, Sandy and Holly collectively read more than 150 series enders. 514 reviews from all participants were linked up. We gave over $900 to monthly winners and yearly grand prize winners.

Even though the Series Enders Reading Challenge has ended, we are thankful for the bloggers and readers we met through the challenge. We are grateful for the encouragement to finish the series we've been holding out on. We are happy to have been able to give back to our supporters over the years. We still plan to keep checking series enders off our list, and we hope you do too!
