Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week's topic is Top Ten Series I'd Like to Start But Haven't Yet. Given the fact that I'm constantly adding to my TBR pile, I probably could list way more than ten on this list. Listed in no particular order are series names of my picks for this week.
1. Matched Series by Allie Condie. I got book 1 for Christmas and heard a lot of great things about it last year.
2. Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens. If for no other reason than these covers are smokin' hot!
3. Partials Sequence by Dan Wells. I've had book 1 for at least 6 months and again, have heard great things about this series.
4. Few Are Angels by Inger Iversen. So I got book 1 directly from the author for free to read and review. I tried reading it once and my mind was wrapped up in another book so I put it down and haven't picked it back up since. Terrible...I know.
5. Blood Like Poison by M. Leighton. I know I'll enjoy this juicy paranormal read by Leighton...after all girl knows how to write romance. (Just read Down to You to find out). And I've had book 1 for awhile but again, haven't read it yet.
6. The Crescent Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy. If for no other reason than to find out who the yummy-ness is on the cover of book 3! And again, I've had book 1 for a long time.
7. The Artists Trilogy by Karina Halle. This series just intrigues me plus the girl on the cover of book 1 looks hardcore.
8. Pretty When She Dies by Rhiannon Frater. Because I won book 1 last year during Fraterfest and because it has zombies. Why haven't I read it yet?!
9. The Grisha by Leigh Bardugo. Hubby gave me book 1 off my Amazon wish list this year, so I really should read it so when he asks "did you read that book yet?" again, I can tell him yes.
10. Graceling Realm by Kristin Cashore. Sister-n-law (Somewhere Only We Know) loaned me this book eons ago....and it's still sitting on my night stand, along with all the other books she loaned me last year.
This is just a few of the series I'd like to start but typically what ends up happening is something else peaks my interest more and I push these aside, yet again. One day...
What series would you put on your Top Ten list today?
Ohh, The Grisha trilogy! You should definitely read Shadow and Bone. It was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have Shadow and Bone and I can't wait to start it. I have heard amazing things about it and I hope to enjoy it!

I read the first book in the Matched series and LOVED it. I've also had Graceling sitting on my shelf for way too long. I just have SO many other things to read!
ReplyDeleteI had to do the same with Few Are Angels. I've started the Matched & Partials series but have yet to make it to book two. The Artist Trilogy is off to a great start, I say start with that one ~ so good!!
ReplyDeleteSo many good series on this list! I loved the Graceling series and the Matched series! I am reading Partials right now!! Happy reading!

I've read Matched, really cute and sweet story (and it's a dystopian... you rarely see cute and sweet combined with that ^^'). Can't wait to read Graceling as well :)

My Top Ten Tuesday
I have yet to read Matches, Partials, or the Grisha Trilogy but I cannot wait to read any of them! NEW FOLLOWER!

Graceling is on my list, too. I've read the first Matched book and the first Partials book, but that's as far as I've gotten with those two. Not because I don't want to finish, just because I haven't gotten around to reading them, you know? And, FYI, book two in the Partials series is a BEAST. That sucker is huge!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm glad to have found your blog via TTT :)
I have been debating starting Matched for some time now, but have heard such mixed things. My co-blogger LOVES the Graceling series!

Graceling is one of my favorite books! And Shadow and Bone was just--OMG The twist in it makes me want to start ranting every time (in a good way).
ReplyDeletePartials is really good and Graceling of course. Hope you get around to them soon! I know you've been a bit ADD with your books lately. :)
