Hop around and follow others who are participating, leaving a comment to let them know. Answer this week's question in your own blog post. This week's question: CHANGE THE PLOT. IF YOU COULD, WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU CHANGE THE ENDING OR A PLOT THREAD?  The first book that came to mind was Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. I'm definitely a happy ending kind of girl. Second to that would be Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I definitely had a disgusted, throw the book across the room feeling well up in me upon reading that ending.  I don't want to write ...

Feature and Follow is a weekly post hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read . "The goal is to increase blog followers and make new friends." Rules: Follow the 2 hosts. Follow the 2 features. Hop around and follow others who are participating, leaving a comment to let them know. This week's question: Find a "new to you blogger" and feature their button on your post this week. Tell us why that blogger stands out to you. Wow. Okay this was incredibly hard!!  First I thought I'd use those who commented on my post from last week but of the ones who were new to me, none had a button. So, thankfully since I'm late, (really late actually since I'm doing this on Saturday), in posting I was able to start perusing through all the #FF participants starting from the last entry and find someone that way. The first one I clicked on only had 6 GFC followers, so she/he is really new. But no button. The second one was new to me AND has a bu...

Infinite Possibilities - Review

Infinite Possibilities (The Secret Life of Amy Bensen #2) By: Lisa Renee Jones Published: November 11, 2013 219 pages Source: Personal Kindle Library ( Goodreads / Amazon ) Summary: Secrets and lies. They are everywhere: haunting her, tormenting her. In the midst of it all, he’d been her escape, her passion. The only person she’d trusted in six years. She is fighting for the truth and she won’t stop until she has it, not even for…him. MY REVIEW: Just like book one, Escaping Reality , this book is fast paced, steamy at times and overall enjoyable. From Books to Movies, Take 2

Image
(Please note: the above picture was found at Bobbins and Books .) For this edition of From Books to Movies I'm going to feature a couple different things, all movie related of course including my own personal review of the new Vampire Academy movie, saved for the very end. Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo Book Description:  When Colton Burpo made it through an emergency appendectomy, his family was overjoyed at his miraculous survival. What they weren’t expecting, though, was the story that emerged in the months that followed—a story as beautiful as it was extraordinary, detailing their little boy’s trip to heaven and back. Colton, not yet four years old, told his parents he left his body during the surgery–and authenticated that claim by describing exactly what his parents were doing in another part of the hospital while he was being operated on. He talked of visiting heaven and relayed stories told to him by people he met there who...
