Ah, Valentine's Day. So, it's true; my husband and I don't typically celebrate Valentine's day because we both agree it's just a ploy to make people spend money on candy and junk. We would rather do things for each other throughout the year anyway, and (mostly) we are both pretty practical so we can't see spending money on junk we don't need. With that said, I do enjoy making Valentine's for my kids to give to their classmates and I do enjoy doing a little something for my 3 Valentine's, even if it's small. As promised last week, below are the Pinterest-inspired Valentine's my daughter and I made for her classmates. My son, the big 7th grader that he is, doesn't get to enjoy the fun of those kind of parties anymore.

The gifts are really cute and I like the creativity behind them. Ruby Circle looks good. I'm so far behind on that series. Only have read the first one in that series.

I love doing crafts for any holiday so that is the only part I really enjoy about Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteOh the crafts are adorable! What fun! We have a low key Valentine's Day as well. We stay home and let the little one choose the menu. This year it was macaroni and cheese and milkshakes! Have a great week and enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI adore your Valentine's crafts. I miss having a young one to do that with. I am working on Christmas decorations for this year. I'll have to wait for the next cotton harvest to get enough to finish them though. I make Southern Snowballs and attach fun sayings to them.
