Review - An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

We are sure enjoying our summer break! The temps have been trending upwards of 90's and low 100's so we have spent a great deal of the last few weeks indoors but this past Friday a "cold front" of sorts was moving in, so there was scattered storms and cloudy skies. The perfect weather for us to enjoy an evening we had planned a month ago out with some of our church family at a minor league baseball game. Though still a bit humid, we had a great time! A super late Friday night equaled sleeping in on Saturday. And then a restful, and semi-productive day.

Oh, and let's not forget our trip to get Krispy Kreme donuts to enjoy on our cheat day. Mm-mmm!

Don't forget, if you are reading last books in a series you should participate in the 2015 Series Ender Reading Challenge! Anyone can sign up to participate until December 2015! Go HERE for full details and to sign up.

Enjoy your week!
Thanks for stopping by!

  3. We are having some of that rainy weather our way, but still the sun peaks out off and on. Everything is thirsty, so I don't mind nature watering it instead of me. :-)
