This week my teasers come from
The Heart of Betrayal (The Remnant Chronicles #2) by Mary E. Pearson:
Teasers: By his third swing, I knew I wasn't fighting an emissary. By his fifth, I knew he wasn't even an average soldier. By the tenth strike, I knew I was going to lose.

Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
That's a good one! I knew there was a reason I wanted to read these. :) The cover art originally drew me to these, but the reviews I've seen have been good. Great pick.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover and an intriguing teaser!
ReplyDeleteHere's mine for this week: http://justasecondblog.blogspot.com/2015/07/teaser-tuesdays-first-chapter-first.html

Great teaser. This one is on my stack but I have a stack of review books I need to read before I can get to it. My YA teaser this week comes from School
ReplyDeletefor Sidekicks by Kelley McCullough. Happy reading!
I am definitely interested in reading this one. I love the sound of it--as well as the teaser and cover.
ReplyDeleteOk, that pulled me right in! Why is she fighting a man in the first place?! Too many questions! Awesome teaser!
ReplyDeleteThis story is told from 3 main POV's - so this particular quote is not told from the leading heroine. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGreat series! You should check it out.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great read! Get to it when you can for sure!
ReplyDeleteAh, see I pulled you in. This quote isn't told from a female's POV. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've seen a theme recently on book covers, perhaps in YA fantasy, with a woman in a bright colored dress with a dreary background. Those covers always draw me in! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteGreat series! Check it out when you can!
ReplyDeleteMe too!!! Wishing it wasn't soooo long of a wait though.
