Sunday Post #119

Sunday Post is a weekly post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer . Each week bloggers participate to share any books received and news from their week. ~FOR REVIEW~ ~PURCHASED~ RECAP OF WEEK: No New Posts Just a short post to say "I'm still here". Part 2. I have seriously missed reading!!! I realize now the luxury I had available to me in the form of TIME . Time to do what I wanted, for the most part, during the day. Now that I'm working full time again outside the home (as an elementary school secretary) I have such limited time to do anything for myself. I'm not complaining. This opportunity has afforded our family many blessings that, in this season in our life, are necessary. But I do miss time to read. I miss getting lost in stories and characters and the many wonderful worlds created by amazing authors. I miss the escape from the stress of life. I miss jumping right into the latest books of my favorite authors (and I have...

2017 Series Enders Reading Challenge: October Wrap Up

Image
Time for our ninth Monthly Wrap Up for the 2017 Series Enders Reading Challenge hosted by Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know and Holly @ Words Fueled by Love ! Since the September Wrap Up , neither Holly nor Sandy have finished any series enders. Announcements/Reminders: Please make sure we have a valid email address or other means of contacting you if you choose to participate. Linking up to Goodreads is perfectly fine, but we have found that Goodreads is not a reliable source for contacting someone should you be selected as one of the monthly giveaway winners. This could be due to your Goodreads notification settings or Goodreads themselves could be at fault. We're not sure which. And since we want to make sure that everyone who is eligible for one of the giveaways will receive their prize should they win one month or the grand prize at the end of the year, it is up to you to ensure that we can contact you and that you respond within a reasonable amount of time (usuall...

Each week bloggers participate to share any books received and news from their week. ~No New Books~ RECAP OF WEEK: No New Posts Just a short post to say "I'm still here". The last Sunday Post I shared was at the end of July and I said I was going back to work. Well, I started my new job as an elementary school secretary on August 10th and my reading, and therefore blogging, time has gone to nearly zero! I just haven't figured out how to fit in reading, and making any significant progress in books, all while working full time AND having evenings and weekends devoted to my teenagers and their extra curriculars or just family time, cleaning house time and lastly, down time. Sadly there aren't enough hours in the day most days. Sometimes I'll get a few pages read here and there but I'm still working on the same ARC that I was back when I last posted.  All of tha...
