Review - The Perfect Game
ARC Thursday Review - Like Falling

Wow, the beginning of September already?!  As much as I try to live in the moment so I don't look back regretting missing out on something important, this year seems to have really flown by.  School is in full force (entering 4th week for son and 3rd week for daughter) and already we have an off day tomorrow which we are all SUPER grateful for!!  Football season has started, both for my son (Peewee football - follow me on Instagram to see photos from those adventures) and college football (for which we are BIG Auburn fans!).  Lots of fun things this time of year!

As a recap of bookish news for the month of August, I read 4 books (a drop from 11 books read in July).  UGH!  That's terrible.  Sigh.....such is the life of a mom of 2, wife and full time nanny.  Reading time is very limited right now but some is better than none.  I reviewed 9 books in August, 5 of those being ARC's.  In July I started a feature called ARC Thursday in an effort of regularly reading and reviewing all of the ARC's I have.  This continues to go well and keeps me on track.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great week reading and blogging!

  1. Awesome. Origin is sure popular this week. I love seeing what people get every week.

  2. Some is always, ALWAYS, better than none. :D

  3. You are at a busy phase in your life, and I remember reading was a luxury when I could squeeze it in and sometimes sleep won! Hope your week is wonderful Holly. Remember to make some time for you!

  4. Sweet! I can't wait to continue the Lux series. Enjoy...

  5. Oh awesome! I'm so glad you got Rose Under Fire. I kind of wish you could read Code Name Verity first though. And YAY for Origin. I'm going to need to borrow your kindle soon so I can read that when you're finished. :)

  6. It seems like Origin is the most wanted book this week. I just finished Obsidian and I can't wait to read more.
