Sunday Post #64

Sunday Post is a weekly post hosted by Kimba at The Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Each week bloggers participate to share any books they received and news from their week.

This week I scored a $10 Amazon gift card and was able to get some books to add to my collection. I tell ya - for a book reader to get a gift card makes me as a happy as a fat kid eating cake. Oh, who am I kidding - it makes ME as happy as I am eating cake!

Click on the bookcover to be taken to its Goodreads page. The Buy Link, if available, is below each book cover.

This week the deep south had ice and snow for 3 days and since we are not used to this kind of weather everything shut down for those 3 days. I got several books read during that down time. But by the end of the 3 days I was ready to get OUT of the house!

And by the weekend temps were back up to the high 50's and low 60's. That's definitely more my kind of weather!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Oh goodie! More books for me to borrow! YAY! :) Have you read Nantucket Blue? You might want to read that one on my kindle first. I don't think they did a good job noting that Nantucket Red was a sequel.

Yes, I knew Nantucket Red was book 2 and that you had book 1. I was denied for it way back. So I'll be borrowing it from you - eventually. I remember you not giving it a very high rating but I still want to check out the series.

5 inches! Ha! Down here we may have gotten 1/2 - 1 inch. And everything STILL shut down!

I know! Me too! I've requested it on Netgalley (still no response!) and really I would've written to the pubs myself to see if I got lucky, but at this point I figure I'll just wait. Even though waiting is like the number 1 thing I hate! ;)
