This week I didn't have a lot of reading time. I've been reading Take A Chance by Abbi Glines all week and am only half way through. During my normal daytime reading time when the little boy I keep naps, I continued to re-watch the seasons of Game of Thrones (I was also doing this last week) in the hopes that it would stir up desire for me to read book 4. Well, it worked. I started A Feast for Crows late this week. My goal is to finish the book before season 4 starts on April 6th. I also chose not to do my tentative posts that I usually participate in. It was just one of those weeks.

Also this week we had lots and lots of softball and soccer. My son had 3 soccer games this week. We will be spending most of our evenings at softball practice and/or games for the next several months. My daughter had 3 hours of it on Friday (one hour with a private coach and 2 hours with her team). And boy was it chilly!!! Then Saturday was a high of 70, beautiful and sunny and we were at the ballpark for an hour and a half. Unfortunately that bouncing back and forth from chilly to warm weather does a number on the sinuses and all of my family in some way is suffering. Scratchy throat, congestion, runny nose and fevers. I think we've got it covered. We are ready for Spring time and warm days!

Enjoy your week friends!

  2. It doesn't hurt to just read one book in a week. It usually means you are taking the time to enjoy it. All the sports running around seems busy, but the back and forth weather doesn't sound so great. It is fifty degrees here and lovely today.

  3. Yay for starting A Feast for Crows. Maybe it won't be so long for you as it was for me. And maybe with focusing full speed on it you'll knock it out quicker than I did. I started the prologue for A Dance with Dragons but haven't gotten back to it.
