2015 Series Ender Reading Challenge: May Wrap Up
ARC Thursday Review - Ice Kissed by Amanda Hocking

The biggest news from our week is that SCHOOL IS OVER!!! Now we can breathe and relax until band camps start (June 4th) for my now 8th grade son! So I now have an 8th grader and a 6th grader!!! My babies are growing up so fast.

In the way of challenges, I'm making good progress in the May Clean Sweep ARC challenge and really need to step it up in the Series Ender Reading Challenge that I co-host.

In other fun book news, I have "passed on the torch", of one of my all time favorite series that reignited my love of reading "way back", to my daughter. She began reading Twilight on a road trip to a baby shower over the weekend. I took this cute photo of her as a perfect Kodak memory moment.

Enjoy your week friends!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Love the photo of your daughter reading. My sons read the series because their girlfriends at the time were reading them. They got me reading them too. By the last book the girlfriends were gone, but we had a mini-book club together. They are both in their 20's' now. Time does fly by.

  3. Sharing a series like this with your daughter is great. I think this series is particularly good for discussing romantic relationships with young women: How does she feel about Edward's behaviors and attitudes? About how Bella acts after Edward breaks up with her? What about her father not knowing Edward was staying over every night?
