My week was good but nothing major to report - thankful for those kind of weeks! My kids got their 3rd report card of the school year. This would be the time I could annoyingly say I am a "proud parent of honor roll kids"... ha! Seriously though, they each have their own goals they work towards in their education and extra curricular activities and I'm super proud of their hard work. I can't believe we have less than 9 weeks left of this school year! And then I'll be the mom of a 9th and 7th grader! (GASP) In other news, I really worked hard on my step goals this week (Fitbit user anyone?!) 4 of the 5 week days I made my goal. There tends to consistently be one day a week where I don't make my goal, for various reasons each time.
If you are reading last books in a series you should participate with us in our 3rd year of the 2016 Series Ender Reading Challenge! Anyone can sign up to participate until December 15, 2016! Go HERE for full details and to sign up. We have a giveaway EVERY month open to those that link up reviews and a BIG giveaway open to everyone that participates through the year. Don't miss out!

Enjoy your week!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Jessica @ a GREAT readMarch 13, 2016 at 8:27 AM

Oh nice! Seeing a LOT of Clare's new book! Hope you enjoy this one too!

    Here's my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower :)

  2. Did you get Lady Midnight on your Kindle or that hardback version?

Oh definitely the Kindle version! I knew better than to invest in a hardback. It would've just sat on my night stand.

  4. I got Lady Midnight this week as well. Had to in order to meet and get an autograph from Cassandra Clare this week! Love the Fitbit e-card!
    Check out my Sunday Post

  5. I figured, but just wanted to double check. I do plan to buy this one eventually, but I just might read it on your kindle first. ;) (It'll be a while though. I've got too many others I need to get through first.)

  6. Congratulations for your kids! Sounds like it's time to celebrate! As an educator, one of the things I see parents overlooking so often are their kids' successes - academically. I don't know where they think their kids' concern for their grades will come from if they are not setting those standards.

I've been debating on getting a Fitbit. All of the health-conscientious people on my campus have them. It's like an exclusive bracelet club.

    Happy reading!
