Sunday Post #115

So my last Sunday Post was May 21st. I had not realized it had been so long! Initially it was because I wasn't getting any new books for awhile and didn't feel I had much to say other than that we were thoroughly enjoying summer break. But then I think time got away from me. I have got quite the number of books over the summer, many of which are ARC's. We haven't done anything major this summer but it's been an enjoyable one and in June I was able to read more books than normal. My daughter recently sprained her ankle so she has been crippled on crutches for a little over a week now and not able to go to volleyball and basketball summer practices so she is miserable which makes me miserable for her.

In other exciting news, today is my birthday! We celebrated on Saturday with my parents swimming and eating one of our favorite homecooked meals: Mexican!! And a birthday is not a birthday in our family without birthday cake!! Mmm-mm!

You can now join us for our 4th annual Series Enders Reading Challenge for 2017! Join anytime until December 15, 2017. We give away a gift card EVERY month to one lucky participant and we award a GRAND PRIZE at the end of the year. The more series enders book reviews you link up - the more entries you have to win. Enjoy your week!

Happy Happy Birthday! I would not turn down a swim party! I hope your daughter recovers fairly quickly so she can get back to it and out of your hair. Happy reading!

Oh I love my sweet girl and don't at all mind her being with me all the time. I just hate it for her that she is unable to go to bball and vball practices and she even missed her first vball scrimmage game because of her injury. She's so sad so it makes me sad for her. :-( Thanks for the well wishes for her!

Thank you! I'm on a contemporary romance kick so What it Takes caught my eye immediately!
