This week's question: If you could get an ARC of any book, already published or not yet, what would it be? - via Words I Write Crazy Hmm....so this would be a toss up between the second book, which is untitled, to An Ember in the Ashes  series by Sabaa Tahir and the third book, The Beauty of Darkness , in The Remnant Chronicles  series by Mary E. Pearson. Both of these books have expected release dates in 2016.  What about you? What ARC would you love to get? For follows, I prefer GFC, FB, Email and Bloglovin'. This week's question: What is your favorite movie?   - suggested by A Kernel of Nonsense Oh goodness. Choosing your favorite movie is like trying to choose your favorite book. There can't be JUST one. At least for me. How about my top 5 favorite movies that I own and never get tired of seeing? (in no particular order) 1. Phantom of the Opera (2004) 2. Pride and Prejudice (the Keira Knightley version and the 5+ hour Colin Firth version) 3. Step Up - all of them! 4. Twilight -  yes really, all of them AND their cheesy glory - don't hate. 5. Harry Potter - all of them! A...

This week's question: You can only eat one cuisine type for the rest of your life. Which would you choose? (E.g. Italian, French, Greek, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, etc...)  - suggested by Journey Through Fiction Hmm...Of all the cuisine types out in the world I would probably have to go with Mediterranean. First of all Mexican all the time would have my stomach in turmoil, Italian all the time would have me fat (too much pasta!), Indian - BLECH!, Chinese (though I love) isn't something I'd want all the time. But Mediterranean has a ton of healthy and fresh (clean) options to enjoy. From ...

This week's question: If you were to get a tattoo what it would say or what would the graphic be? Or if you have a tattoo share a picture and its meaning. - submitted by Second Run Reviews. I don't currently have any tattoos and at almost 36 yrs old I'm not sure if I'll ever get one. I love the idea of them and am quite fond of them actually. But because it's permanent I have yet to find something that I loved enough to want on my body forever. I have always felt that if something major happened in my life, specifically something with my children, that I would want something in ...

This week's question: If you could step into one characters shoes (in a book) and be them for a day who would it be and why? Also if you want to be creative, what scene?  I thought about choosing my current read (which at the time of this posting is Marrow  by Tarryn Fisher) to pick a character but oh no, it is one depressingly dark book and I wouldn't want to be any of the characters in it. So instead I'll go with my excitement over the new Shadowhunters show coming soon on ABC Family and use The Mortal Instruments as my inspiration for my answer. I'll go with Clary Fray for a day -...

This week's question: How do you write your reviews? I don't have any set complicated method to writing my reviews. I write them pretty much immediately after I've finished reading the book because I am likely to forget details and my initial thoughts, reactions and feelings if I wait more than a day. I go with my gut instinct when it comes to my final rating. I try to be honest about what I did and didn't like. So yeah, that pretty much sums up how I write my reviews. What about you? Do you have a method? I'm curious to see the various ways others interpreted this question....

This week's question: How do you decide what books to read? Typically it boils down to 2 main factors: is the cover appealing and is there a love story involved? A close second to these reasons would be: am I a fan of the author; is the synopsis unique and/or intriguing, and is the rating above 3.75 stars on Goodreads?  What about you? Are you a cover snob like me? Do you have some method for weeding through the gazillions of books at your disposal? This week's question: How did you come up with your blog title and address? Does it have a special meaning for you? - suggested by The Paperback Princesses So I started my blog back in October 2012 and wrote my second post on my blog title, originally posted  here . Here is what I had/have to say about my blog title: I find that I am always interested to know the story behind how one chooses a blog title or webpage title.  It’s always a glimpse into that person’s creative side, however small or large that may be.  So for those curious in nature, like myself, here’s the “sto...

This week's question: Here is $100,000 (*Words Fueled by Love is in the US so ya'll change it to your currency) . Buy something. Anything at all! What would be the first thing you choose and why? Husband and I are pretty practical when it comes to spending and saving. More than likely we would save a large chunk of this kind of money and invest it. Boring, I know. Second to that would probably be using part of it as a down payment on a bigger house with at least an acre of space that we'd one day like to have. I have quite the wide variety of what I like, but here's a few...

This week's question: Do you like fantasy or realistic books? If realistic fiction equates to contemporary fiction, then I would say I like both fantasy and realistic books equally. I go through spurts where I'm craving all things fantasy...and then things get boring for me and I switch back to contemporary fiction and eat up a bunch of those. Back and forth I constantly go. But there's a bunch of labels that fall in between those, isn't there? Sci-Fi, Dystopian, Paranormal, etc... I'm all over the map with what I enjoy reading. It's more about the characters and how I relate ...

This week's question: Do you read more than 1 book at a time, and if so, how, like a certain number of pages per book before moving on to the next one in the queue? I have attempted this in the past, maybe reading one book on my Kindle app, and one hard print book and switching in between the two depending on where I was reading and which was more convenient. Inevitably though, one book would always take up more of time than another and I found that I wasn't really making faster progress by reading multiple books at a time. So for probably the last 2 years I've been a one-book-at-a-time k...

This week's question: HAVE YOU MET A FAVORITE AUTHOR AND HAVE A PICTURE? SHARE. From left to right: Richelle Mead, me, Sister-n-law Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Know . This was a super spontaneous trip in May of 2010, after being at the ballpark all morning we decided to drive 4 hours south to meet Richelle Mead and get our books signed by her. She was visiting a small quaint bookstore in Fairhope, AL called Page and Palette for the release of her book Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy #5) . It was a fabulous experience and she was super sweet. I wish I could meet more authors but the reality is that not many co...

IF YOU COULD, WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU CHANGE THE ENDING OR A PLOT THREAD?  The first book that came to mind was Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. This was a rare time where I enjoyed the movie better than the book because the ending in the book is sad and the movie guru's knew that folks would love a happier ending so they change it. I'm definitely a happy ending kind of girl. Second to that would be Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I definitely had a disgusted, throw the book across the room feeling well up in me upon reading that ending.  I don't want to write ...

Tell us why that blogger stands out to you. Wow. Okay this was incredibly hard!!  First I thought I'd use those who commented on my post from last week but of the ones who were new to me, none had a button. So, thankfully since I'm late, (really late actually since I'm doing this on Saturday), in posting I was able to start perusing through all the #FF participants starting from the last entry and find someone that way. The first one I clicked on only had 6 GFC followers, so she/he is really new. But no button. The second one was new to me AND has a bu...

This week's question: IF YOU COULD READ A BOOK FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY? Hmmm.....I'm going to go with Slammed by Colleen Hoover.  Ya'll - this story (and when I say "this story" I really mean books one and two) made me WEEP . Yes, literally, snot nosed crying. The story of Layken and Will really touched me deeply. I haven't read it a second time yet, and I know that when I do it will probably have me tearing up, but my initial reaction probably won't be the same.  What about you? This week's question: WHAT BOOKS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO READING IN 2014? I'm probably most excited to read the final installment in the Lux series, Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout - and have to wait until August to do so. Other than that I can't really think of anything releasing this year that I just HAVE to have. I have so many books waiting on me to get to them that I think this is a good thing for me. Maybe that'll help me get caught up on what I already have.
