This week's question: How did you come up with your blog title and address? Does it have a special meaning for you? - suggested by The Paperback Princesses So I started my blog back in October 2012 and wrote my second post on my blog title, originally posted  here . Here is what I had/have to say about my blog title: I find that I am always interested to know the story behind how one chooses a blog title or webpage title.  It’s always a glimpse into that person’s creative side, however small or large that may be.  So for those curious in nature, like myself, here’s the “sto...

This week I'm waiting on: Until Friday Night (The Field Party #1) by Abbi Glines Expected Publication: September 25, 2015 by Simon Pulse Preorder Buy Link: Amazon To everyone who knows him, West Ashby has always been that guy: the cocky, popular, way-too-handsome-for-his-own-good football god who led Lawton High to the state championships. But while West may be Big Man on Campus on the outside, on the inside he’s battling the grief that comes with watching his father slowly die of cancer. Two years ago, Maggie Carleton’s life fell apart when her father murdered her mother. And after she told the police what happened, she stopped speaking and hasn’t spoken since. Burnt Devotion - Review

Image
Burnt Devotion (Imdalind #5) By: Rebecca Ethington Published: March 22, 2015 by Imdalind Press 158 pages Source: Personal Kindle Library ( Goodreads / Amazon ) Summary: It was supposed to be the final battle, the one to end Edmund’s line, his life, and free the magic Edmund had taken from the world. That was how it was foreseen. The end of the battle that has raged for centuries, unbeknownst to the mortals around them, the battle that would end with Joclyn’s death. But it did neither. The battle still reigns, Joclyn still lives, and the sight that was given eight hundred years ago is broken. And it’s not the only one. Sights that were once thought infallible have become nothing more than scattered glass, with broken pieces shattering into incorrect visages. Sain clings to the magic that he knows to be true, but there is something else, something that he is not saying. And what he does say is no longer adding up. Something is wrong. Ilyan and his people mov...

Fashionable or Not? - Fringe Trend

Image
Fashionable or Not? Fringe Trend Today I want to talk about a fashion trend that I'm totally digging, though don't own any pieces currently. That is the trend of fringe. I've seen it everywhere - from purses, to shoes, to bathing suits, to tops and vests and dresses. Lots and lots of dangling pieces of fabric abound everywhere you look right now in stores and online. I don't really know what it is about fringe that draws me in so much. There are a few reasons that come to mind though. It reminds me of Springtime and Summer, those dangling strings are fun to run your fingers through, the bohemian chic style they typically have and just the way they blow in the breeze gives me this free feeling. The bottom line for me is that I absolutely must add some fringe items to my wardrobe. Here's a few styles I've got my eye on. Fringe Shoes:   In order as shown:  1. Minnetonka Ashley wedge: comes in 3 colors, and retails for $64.95 2. Minnetonka Mo...

Follow the 2 features (new each week). Hop around and follow others that are participating, leaving a comment to let them know. Answer this week's question in your own blog post. This week's question: Here is $100,000 (*Words Fueled by Love is in the US so ya'll change it to your currency) . Buy something. Anything at all! What would be the first thing you choose and why? Husband and I are pretty practical when it comes to spending and saving. More than likely we would save a large chunk of this kind of money and invest it. Boring, I know. Second to that would probably be using part of it as a down payment on a bigger house with at least an acre of space that we'd one day like to have. I have quite the wide variety of what I like, but here's a few...
